The committee

Feel free to get to know us below. We are all happy to chat with you and answer any questions or concerns you may have. The society was restarted by our president, Skye, in March 2020 and alongside you the committee wants to create a supportive network between all the STEM subjects and women within them.

We very much want to connect with all the STEM subjects so please get involved!

Welfare representatives

Our amazing team of Welfare Representatives makes the dream of a supportive community come true. They act as outreach beacons for each STEM school and ensure the welfare of our students, guiding them towards success.

THE collaborators

We thank our collaborators for helping us run the blog. Making sure women's voices are heard is our priority, and achieving this goal would be much more challenging without our amazing bloggers.

If you have a story to share, get in touch with us and we can organize an interview to share your experience.

Nyasha Mutembwa

Welfare Representative for Engineering

Hi, my name is Nyasha, I am an incoming fourth year Civil Engineering student. In the world of STEM, I believe I can be a source of information particularly involving engineering. I thoroughly enjoy communicating and networking with like-minded women and I hope to provide support and advice from my own point of view and the lessons I have learnt to help others through their journey. Besides my engineering academics, I aim to also break the stereotypes and challenge the gender roles within the sector in the future.
